Best rifle scope for under 500

Looking for a rifle scope that can do about 50-75 yards for my 30-06 and also be able to reach out to 300+ yards. Buying a new one soon and wanted some input. I have been looking into Nikons Monarch series.

Vortex for the money and warranty, their warranty is transferable and it doest matter if you run your scope over they will replace it at no charge.  I am actually selling one if interested. It is a vortex viper pst 6-24x50 illuminated reticle I have shot out to 1,200 yds with this scope.
